The company doubles its professional installers, expands its global network and reaffirms its record-year forecast
Financial Results for the First Half of 2025
Shelly Group has reported strong performance in the first half of 2025, outperforming market growth in the IoT sector. Revenues grew by 29.3% to €54 million, with all regions contributing above the market average. EBIT rose to €12.2 million with a margin of 22.6%, while net profit reached €10.2 million. Operating cash flow increased to €6.2 million, and the equity ratio remained high at 81%, underlining the company’s solid financial foundation.
“Our growth story continued successfully in H1 2025 as we strengthened our market position. Device activations in the Shelly Cloud are growing even faster than sales, proving that our products reach end customers and not just distributors – a strong signal for the second half of the year,” said Wolfgang Kirsch, CEO of Shelly Group.
Expanding Customer Base
More than 4.5 million households worldwide now use Shelly products. In the past 12 months alone, over 11 million devices were sold, bringing total sales to more than 26.5 million. The Shelly Smart Control app has surpassed 2.3 million active users, with premium subscriptions growing rapidly.
Professional Segment Growth
The number of professional installers working with Shelly has more than doubled – from 900 at the end of 2024 to 2,400 in June 2025. This segment is becoming a key growth driver for expanding the company’s reach across markets.
International Expansion
German-speaking markets remain strong with 20.5% growth, while Europe outside DACH grew by 31.6% and the rest of the world by 83.7%, with notable progress in Italy, Scandinavia, and the United States.
Outlook for 2025
Shelly Group confirms its guidance for the year, expecting revenues between €145 - 155 million and EBIT of €35 - 40 million. The company’s expanding customer base, accelerating professional segment, and entry into new markets underpin its confidence in a record 2025.
