Shelly debuts world’s first smart MCBs at IFA 2025 and expands professional circuit breaker lineup for global market growth
Shelly Group SE has unveiled its groundbreaking Smart Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) product line at IFA 2025 in Berlin. The innovation marks the world’s first smart MCBs in a compact 1M form factor, available with B- and C-trip characteristics, 1P+N poles, and rated currents from 6 A to 25 A. This launch accelerates Shelly’s entry into the professional building and energy management market, combining maximum electrical safety with advanced smart control features.
Smart Safety and Control
The new Shelly Smart MCBs provide real-time monitoring to detect anomalies such as overconsumption or appliance malfunctions. In critical situations like fire or flooding, users can remotely disconnect power per branch, minimizing risks and damage. Two modern communication options are available: Z-Wave LR or Bluetooth combined with Zigbee, ensuring flexibility and broad integration potential. Expanded Professional Portfolio
Alongside the Smart MCBs, Shelly introduced a full line of Pro Smart Circuit Breakers, ranging from 1- to 4-pole models with currents from 10 A to 63 A. Designed for both residential and industrial applications, they feature integrated Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth connectivity, ensuring flexibility and seamless integration.
